The Global Computer Science Scholars Network is an eight-week live virtual learning experience for students in grades 4 through 8. Scholars will explore artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, coding, computational thinking, and other computer science concepts through expert instruction, creative challenges, and Minecraft-based learning.
Each session will introduce students to an engaging technology concept and then give them an opportunity to apply what they have learned through interactive Minecraft challenges. Students will create, solve problems, share ideas, and strengthen the thinking skills that will help prepare them for a technology-driven future.
Scholars will also connect and collaborate with students from different cities, states, and countries. This global learning environment will help students expand their perspectives, communicate with new peers, and see themselves as part of a worldwide community of young technology creators.
Through this experience, students will begin moving beyond simply using technology. They will strengthen their ability to understand it, think critically about it, create with it, and imagine how they can use it to solve problems.

Dr. Nadine Ebri
Dr. Nadine Ebri is an award-winning educator, technology leader, and CEO of Ebri Education. She began her career as a K–8 educator in Duval County Public Schools, where she was recognized as a Duval County Teacher of the Year finalist.
While in the classroom, Dr. Ebri launched a Minecraft learning lab, created hands-on learning experiences for students, hosted educational field trips, and trained educators across the district to use Minecraft as a meaningful tool for teaching and learning.
Her work eventually led her to Microsoft, where she served as the Global Education Community Manager for Minecraft Education. In this role, she led global education initiatives and supported programs connecting students and educators around the world, including the global Minecraft Student Ambassador program.
Today, Dr. Ebri serves as the CEO of Ebri Education, a Microsoft Global Training Partner, where she works with schools, districts, organizations, educators, and students to expand access to innovative learning experiences in computer science, artificial intelligence, educational technology, and game-based learning.
Dr. Ebri has also been nationally recognized for her leadership in education and technology, including being named an ISTE 20 to Watch educator and one of EdTech Magazine’s 30 K–12 IT Influencers to Follow.
Through the Global Computer Science Scholars Network, Dr. Ebri is bringing her classroom experience, global technology leadership, and passion for student opportunity together to help young people build the skills, confidence, creativity, and global perspective needed to thrive in a technology-driven world.
