Presidential Leadership Scholars Project

Learn More About the Presidential Leadership Scholars Project Under Ebri Education by Dr. Nadine Ebri
The Ripple AI-ffect: AI for Community Impact is a national leadership project led by Dr. Nadine Ebri as part of the 2026 Presidential Leadership Scholars program, a partnership among the presidential centers of George W. Bush, William J. Clinton, George H. W. Bush, and Lyndon B. Johnson. Led through Ebri Education, this project focuses on building artificial intelligence literacy in ways that are ethical, human-centered, and community focused. Beginning in Jacksonville and designed to scale nationally, the initiative prepares communities to understand and safely use AI by teaching digital safety, bias awareness, prompt engineering, deepfake and misinformation detection, and responsible real-world AI use. The project uses a ripple model led by college-aged students who are trained first and then supported as they help bring AI education into the community. The goal is to help train 100,000 people by 2030, including students, teachers, community members, businesses, nonprofits, and adults ages 60 and older who are increasingly targeted by digital scams and AI-enabled fraud. As artificial intelligence continues to shape the workforce and everyday life, this project helps ensure communities are not just using AI tools, but understanding how they work, when to question them, and how to use them responsibly and safely.
